About The French River

Albert Einstein said, " Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better." I don't know that Mr. Einstein knew anything about the French River, but it would seem as if he did. Spending time on the French River has always helped me understand everything better. The solitude that the river provides is hard to beat.

The solitude is probably part of the reason that so many canoe enthusiasts visit the French River each year. With much of the river being deemed a national park just a few years ago, the sport of canoing on the river took off. Many people enjoy taking a canoing holiday on the French every year. The bottom line is if you're a canoe enthusiast, The French River is the place for you.

When you think of fishing in Canada, the French River is exactly what you're thinking about. The scenery, solitude, great fishing, and enough black flies to literally choke a horse. That, in a nutshell is the French River, and if you're an outdoor enthusiast, you should investigate the river a bit further.
